Task is still running

    I have ISR on 3 servers. On one, the scheduled Daily Backup task has now been running for 2 days. The option to stop/start the ISR service is not available. I could kill the process but not sure if I could restart it. I have seen this once before on another server and was able to reboot to correct. This server is a DC, so rebooting must be scheduled.

    Any other options?

    How do I prevent this from happing again?

    Why are the service options restricted?

    Not sure I understand your problem. ISR has two services that run all the time. Are they causing a problem. I don't use scheduling in First Defense, but I just leave those services alone.

    I have 3 tasks running ISRCmd, ISRMonitor and ISRService. I only see the last one running as a service.

    The problem is the task started okay and now appears to be hung. I was looking for a no reboot option to correct the problem.
