    Hello.
i use Macrium reflect free (version 5.xx ) to restore the backup image.
i boot from Rescue CD, choose image, but after i click next, there appears window, where user has to choose the target (destination) disk, but the window is empty! there arent shown the disks - it cant see and show me the partitions. what to do?

maybe your HDD is a dynamic disk.
reflect do not support dynamic disks on linux rescue cd, AFAIK.

I experienced a similar thing with macrium. It could not see my external HDD in the linux recovery environment.

I downloaded a macrium iso from the windows 7 forum and it has worked flawlessly ever since.
