I'm on XP Pro all updates applied with the opsys on one of my two SCSI hard drives, there is also an IDE drive for storage, applications, etc.

When I place the SZ on the 2nd SCSI drive - partitioned with an OS/2 opsys partition and a second HPFS partition with applications, etc. - I allow TI v8 to create the SZ in the unallocated space on the drive. Everything seems to go fine except that I notice during the next boot up that the SCSI h/a BIOS splash screen now shows the 2nd SCSI drive at 40MB throughput rather than the 160MB displayed just prior to the creation of the SZ.

I'm not sure what is occuring after the placement of the SZ on that SCSI drive but the h/a splash screen change gives me a concern and wanted to see if anyone else has seen this behavior or if it indicates problems.

    Thanks!
