    Wow, that's a troll-heavy comment thread there.

    Moving the VT code into userspace sounds promising. I wonder if that could help with graceful recovery from X crashes.

    (I've done a bit of a 180 lately re systemd, mostly because it went hand in hand with cgroups; which finally gave us usable jails on Linux. It's great stuff for servers and development systems. Not such a big deal for desktops though. The boot time thing was way hyped.)
