The "System Safety Monitor vs Process Guard Free" thread from fireback just below prompted me to think of SSM vs RegRun duplication.

The most basic (Standard) version of RegRun has three functions that appear to duplicate SSM functinoality:
"Process Manager" controls processes running on the PC,
"Secure Start" notifies you of changes to the registry, and
"Start Control" controls which programs can start at Windowns boot-up.

Since I'm planning on purchasing RegRun (which of the 3 version levels I haven't yet decided), I'm wondering if loading SSM in addition to RegRun would add any more security, or just be a duplication.

    I'd appreciate knowledgeable advise.

    Regards,
    Stro

RegRun does not have an "application firewall" the way that SSM does.. the process manager is basically a task manager.
