    Hi the mul,

Yes, I think that is normal. WormGuard recognizes it as something that can make major changes to your registry and warns you about that.

    Regards,

    Pieter

:doubt: I don't know about the okay - when Wormguard blocked System Restore from running for me, it was because it was infected. - after having gotten rid of the virus, my SR has not been blocked from running. Hmmmmo_Oo_O?? Any answers to that one Pieter?

You can add the System Restore EXE to the ALLOW list to stop this - rstrui.exe

P4U, people running XP or winME are always advised after cleaning out an infection to disable system restore when they are all clean -- reboot -- enable system restore again -- make manually a new system restore point, which should be clean then -- reboot and test it.
If you went through those steps WG shouldn't block a clean restore else then warning for the changes the restore is likely to make to your system like said above.

What surprises me, btw: WG is for WORMS and scripts, but it does block viruses activities too. Isn't that great?

Hey Jooske - I did all that with guidance from Wilders [last year] when I had the Sobig infection ... since then everything is simply peaches & cream. :D I think it was Mul that is having the problem which appears to be cured.
