system auto loading photo gallery

    having problem with something in windows xp. everytime i start windows get an auto load for photo gallery. looked everywhere in system, and i have no idea where it came from. dont think that is a virus, or spyware. ran everything i have (spybot, adware se,nortons (web and system)and a few others). if anyone has any info, it would be greatly appreaciated. thank you for your time

    Open MSConfig and look under the startup tab.

    Check the programs listed which run each startup. Perhaps one of those listed is the one involved. Unchecking and a reboot will nomally stop the program from running. However, some programs require you to open their program and uncheck the startup options inside the program.

    Perhaps if you look at all the programs running in your systray, you can figure out which program is involved.
