system 32.exe

    I scanned my laptop yesterday with Kaspersky IS AVAST AVG and CUREIT and all said clean but SAS and MBAM and PREVEX say i have a system 32.exe trojan
    .All were fully updated and i don.t know what to do now. Can someone give a link to find a cleanning tool for this or should i just follow the SAS directions . Will cleaning do aby harm to the system/?

    If you could post the full name of the trojan it may reveal more.
    Once you have browsed to and located the file concerned, a right click on it to look at the properties may indicate more about it, too.
    Meantime, upload it to one of the online scanners (links below) to get a few more opinions.

    PS. Tell me you don't have KIS, Avast AV, and AVG AV all installed? Please?

    post the full path of the file and trojan name.

    No i have not installed them at the same time but one after the other just to scan. I did upload the files to VIRUS TOTAL and they were all clean. Afterwards MBAM found some backdors (3) and the rest of the scanners did not find anything.Right now i am running AVG paid.o_O o_O o_O o_O

    Gery, you might have 'got' something awhile ago, say before you've improved your security setup.

    Take a snapshot or restore point, and then let prevx or SAS/MBAM clean the file. See how your system runs afterwards. There might be no negative impacts.

    So far i don't see anything wrong with my laptop but i was surprised to find out
    that some malware was in my system. nothing wrong so far

    Hi,

    It may be an idea to zip up the file, password protect it and send it to AVG. As you have the paid edition hopefully they will reply to you whether the file is clean or not.

    this forum is biased!
    its known that mbam and prevx do have some FP's, i dont know if this is the same with SAS.

    Rescan with SAS and all is clean.
