How many traditional AVs are even still out there on the market?

Even free AV products now offer url scanning, file ratings, cloud lookups and analysis, some form of behavior blocking in addition to traditional signature and heuristics based scanning, blocking and removal. Not to mention that some employ own HIPS, DNS or sandbox solutions. All that and more is available also in paid offerings.

That AV paradigm in the sense how Symantec mentioned it a year ago has been long dead and buried.

So why is this topic brought up again?
