We are issued latest version of symantec corporate 10 however was wondering if I should stick with that or purchase something like nod32 student license? How does symantec corp resource usage and performance compare to others? I know the nod32 student license for two years is 29.99 where my symantec corp is free.

I would stick with Symantec Corp. Have been using it for almost ½ year now without any probs. Its light on resources, have good spyware and antivirus capabilities and it haven't let any bad stuff in eventhough Im not the safest surfer on the net :cautious: Mix it with etc. Comodo and you will be very well secured! Try it out :thumb:

Sav10 is a very good av app. It does run light and is very effective in defending your comp. I would stick with it. I have used it off and on for years and it has always worked well.

The Corporate version is completely different to the retail Norton product; less bloat, much lighter in real-time and much better support. Since free with the site license I would plump for SAV.

Is it really less bloat than NOD? I was using SAV 10, but went to NOD for the Trial and thought it was easier on the system. I do not want to pay for it so I was think Avira PE free, do you all think SAV10 is better (since that too is free like the OP's)?

Not meaning to take offtopic, but what is the current revision of SAV10? I have access through a college and might check it out?
