This seems like an interesting product but there is no info about it on the Zone Lab site. What's up with that? Anybody have knowledge of this?

SurfinGuard® Pro is the first personal sandbox security utility that proactively monitors executable programs for malicious behavior.
SurfinGuard Pro, from Finjan Software, runs executables in a protected "sandbox" environment and automatically blocks any hidden Trojan or worm that breaches security rules. SurfinGuard Pro uses Finjan's First-Strike Security technology to detect and prevent malicious code attacks without relying on anti-virus database updates.
With no updates required, SurfinGuard Pro users can open executable files with the peace of mind that they are protected.

ZLabs is offering it for $19 to registered users. I used to run ZAPro with Win2000 and had some conflicts so I moved to OutPost and had problems with that. Since then I have gotten new laptop w/ XP Pro and no software firewall. I have an SMC router/barricade.
I am now building my security bit by bit. That's why the question on SurfinGuard.

    Thanks,
    Tracy

Tired - you might want to try doing a "Search" on "Finjan" and/or "SurfinGuard" here at the site. Pete

Thanks! I read many posts and
I think I'll sit this one out:)!
Sometimes I think my middle name is "software conflicts", I don't need anymore!
The bundle from Diamond with Port Explorer, WormGuard and TDS3 seems like it would do all I need and more. :D

    It's a matter of trust.

I have no idea how good (or bad) the software is. Pete
