    This looks like a portable browser with a VPN on a USB key, nothing special, they claim their USB hardware is 10 times faster than a memory stick but I don't need that level of performance, a memory stick works just fine for me.

    I think that you can set this up yourself at home for free, or buy the Ironkey if you need password protection.

    Companies like this SurfEasy sell to the average clueless computer user;

    Surf the internet secure and easy
    Portable and take anywhere you go fast and simple
    Use on any computer
    Plug and Play simple

    BLAH BLAH BLAH, that's all it is, is just a SALES PITCH!

    So the truth is, if you're interested you need to contact them and ask them questions?

    1. Is this a proxy service?

    Found this listed on their blog; (Maybe just some proxy service is all this is)

    Will SurfEasy release its code?
    No, sorry. Releasing the code decreases the effectiveness of features such as our proxy discovery solutions.

    2. Is this a VPN

    Once you know if you're dealing with a proxy service or a vpn, you would target questions specific to what's going on to further get a feel for what they are doing, if it's just rubbish or not.

    Typically most of these companies are just rubbish, especially the ones like this that talk the great story without really telling you anything technical going on.

    Here's an interesting one - apparently from one Curt Dalton. There's a Facebook page. Maybe he's the same Curt Dalton who sells fitness videos - There are some cool videos here -
