I have been using True Image 7.0 to take images of our RedHat Enterprise Linux 3.0 install image for the last year. We have upgraded to RHEL 4.0 recently and the image uses the Logical Volume Manager (LVM). True Image doesn't appear to understand that and tries to make a complete image of the hard drive (which is huge and it estimates it would take 10 hours).

Does 8.0 support LVM? If not, does anyone know of any comparable products that do?

    Hello Ralph,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We regret to inform you that current version of Acronis True Image doesn't support Logical Volume Manager. Our Development Team is currently working on the implementation of this feature and we expect it to be introduced in future versions of Acronis True Image.

    Thank you.
