    I don't see what is portable about it since it does a normal install. On top of that, it deletes your SAS install if you have an older one. The file is no longer a .com file and the instructions below the eula aren't even close.

    Does the free SAS still auto-upgrade? I still have the 6.0.1204 version.

    The Free version (6.0.1216) does NOT auto-update. That's fine with me -- I never allow any program on my box to auto-update.
