Have downloaded twice at intervals of 8 hours. Still the previous version.

    Lucky fish !

It says 3.6.1000, but downloads the previous version. Maybe a time zone thing. Will try again later.

    Download in Progress
    ( SUPERAntiSpyware.exe (5.66MB), Version: 3.6.1000 )

If the download does not begin shortly, please click here.

The likley issue is that the SSUPDATE.EXE (our updater) is not being granted full access through the firewall - this is the only reason we see users not being able to update.

Thanks, but firewall access is granted and I have no problem with definition updates. I am talking about downloading from your site, not via the update function of the application. The downloaded executable still shows version 3.5.1016.
Not to worry - will keep on trying. :cautious:

When I started both computers I was advised of the new version, and let it install. All went well, and is still doing so.
    Best,

Perhaps your next try will be successful because of now on my end both the Free and Pro version downloads come down as 3.6.0.1000.

If that still does not hold true for you perhaps a clearing of your browser cache might be in order :doubt:

No need to uninstall the old version, just let the updater do its job.
On reboot you'll have the new version running. :D

That's true, as I found out myself with certain programs. :doubt:
Haven't experienced any problems yet with SAS, so I don't mind.
Do whatever works best for you. ;)

    Hi everyone,

I know this is going to sound really bizarre but I had Opera 9.1 open when I did this update and it some how changed the default colors (silver and red) on the Opera page to a ugly brown. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it doesn't solve the problem. I can't figure this out.

See attached. All OK now  but I had to get the download from Snapfiles.
The executable downloaded 9/03/07 from SAS is still the old version.

After having it run on startup (even though I have it checked not to) on both a desktop and laptop running WinXp SP2 and rebooting several times, I decided to s***-can it.
    No thanks. :thumbd:
