    I heard that SuperAntispyware has limited detection and removing capabilities on x64 systems. Is this true? I should change to another antispyware product?

    I only found this on their forums:

    I have Windows 7 x64 Ultimate system.

    Are you talking about the RTS or the scanning part of SAS?

    Sorry, i dont know what is RTS. I mean about the whole product, scanning, detecting, removing malwares on x64 system. I did a scan on my x64 system and it found 10 cookies and removed them. So it's working but i want to know it's working like on x86 systems or some components missing on x64? Like in a-squared...

    RTS = Real-time Shield :)

    I can't really comment on this as I still use more supported, more mainstream 32bit OS myself.

    This system I'm using as I type has SAS installed on a win7 x64 OS for quite a long time.
    I'm no expert as so many are on this board and I'm satisfied with it's performance.
    The RTS is as effective as it was when I was running it on XP and Vista x86. This impression is based on real life experience and not any lab situation. It's not perfect but gets the job done :D

    Thanks for the information, guys! I won't uninstall SAS, i have no errors and no problems with it and it cleans those nasty tracking cookies.:)

    I know one of SAS's drivers will not load up on x64. I can't remember which one it was. If you look in your event viewer it should show up as an error unable to load driver. Like I said, I can't remember what the driver is for though.
