The development of this as is excellent with constant improving and new features not surpassed by any other antispyware.

First Chance Prevention is something new in Real-Time Protection...

Well the 40% faster scanning speed claim and the lower resourse claim being made on the SUPERAntispyware site are not borne out on my system at least. The only other program running realtime is NOD32. :doubt: http://www.superantispyware.com/index.html

If you notice in our release notes, the 40% is not referenced, the 40% is in comparison to our initial releases of the software.

Hi, folks: Will SAS pro become another Spyware Doctor; thorough scanning coupled w/ system slowdown ? The only reason I stay away from SD.

As you notice, nothing we have added to SUPERAntiSpyware in the past year as resulted in any system slowdown - we intend to keep SUPERAntiSpyware light on resources so it can co-exist with other anti-spyware and anti-virus applications as we all know a single application can't catch everything on a given day.

Well a casual observer who doesn't study release notes would believe it is a comparison with 3.6. As claims of higher efficency are usually made in comparison to the version released prior the new one. :(

well i have a problem since i updated to the newest version.
i have reported it to support already.
since i installed it logging in and out is alot slower but once the desktop is loaded the pc is very fast.
    hopefully this will be resolved
edit once i turned off the new first chance provention in realtime protection tab its all back to normal.

Well I certainly appreciate the free program available from SAS. But from a consumer point of view I would think the advertisement of "Over 40% faster scanning" directly after "New Version 3.7" would mean that 3.7 is 40% faster than the last version, not the original however many releases ago that was. There should be an * or something clarifying that claim.

Like I said earlier, I appreciate the free program being available. But I could see where someone would really be turned off (or ticked off) if they purchased and the claims referenced the original version not the previous release. That is a bit misleading unless clarified in the same place the claim is made.

If you were not already using the product, it is faster than previous builds - we don't list it in the release notes, so users upgrading from 3.6 to 3.7 will know it's not pertaining to the upgrade.

I respect your opinion - we have to have some flexibility in our advertising and marketing.

Hi, folks: Everyone needs the flexibility once a while, but... if that feature would lead to more confusions ,more questions, IMO, i would rather refrain from doing it. Vague statements, unintentional misleadings are just few maga killers of any growing ,striving business. Remember, you can fool all the people once, but you can not fool just one all the time. Have a nice thought.

Speed is good, especially when it can step up scanning/detection without limiting functionality. Frankly, i thought it was adequate enough before but hey, if it can be made to run faster all the more i say.

The 40% claim in improved scanning speed has disappeared it seems.

It's interesting how much people complain when they are getting a free product! :)
