Weird I tested SUMo on another pc (my mom's pc) and it seems to have no slow down. I don't get it.

I will see if it is just the registered version giving trouble. Is it ok if I use one of my 4 out 4 computers to register my mom's pc or can we only register our own pcs up to 4 ?

    Yes. Windows 10.

Why do you think it is flash or zam ?

    Oh ok.

Your right it is ZAM :(

I don't get why it is interfacing with SUMo :(

I just uninstalled it and SUMo worked rapidly again!

Is it possible to keep ZAM installed and have SUMo work rapidly ?

lol I thought I was going to have to get a new SSD. :argh:

For some reason I think it is 7-Zip this time. When I upgraded it from 16.00 to 16.02 SUMo started to hang. I have no idea why.

No issue with 7-Zip 16.02 and SUMo here.
    I understand you uninstalled ZAM.
Is Flash Player only on your system integrated in IE11, Edge and perhaps Google Chrome, or did you install Flash Player for other browsers, like Flash for Firefox? If you installed Flash Player, have you tried uninstalling that and testing again?
After uninstalling ZAM, and perhaps Flash, have you sent new debug mode logs to Kyle, yet?

same comment, please send me the logs when problem appears again and i'll analyse.

Btw, do you have some A/V running on your system ? Does the problem persists if you disable its real time scanning ? Since SUMo accesses to EXE files for fetching version information, it may trigger A/C heuristics.

    For clarity -
I do not experience any problems with SUMo.
My previous post was addressed to max2.
Kyle, I suppose your reply was addressed to max2, as well, just as mine was?

Hi Kyle, Sumo tells me that a new version for Classic Shell is available (version 4.2.7, see picture). However, this is not quite true according to the Classic Shell homepage; version 4.2.7 is the latest BETA version, but it's not the latest STABLE version:
The latest stable version of Classic Shell is 4.2.5c
The latest beta version of Classic Shell is 4.2.7
    http://www.classicshell.net/

It's not a big thing, but could this "beta" error be corrected with one of the next versions? Thanks for your help.

I've been able to reproduce the problem and the culprit is ... Windows Defender !
Disabling WD or settings SUMo full path as process Exclusion will do the trick.

Got it via automatic update. Works like a charm. Thanks, Kyle.:)
