I can confirm that (downloaded the zip package). Still 126.96.36.199
Fixed (my mistake... sorry !)
SUMo - 3.0.6 (Released 2012-04-27)
works great !!
Thank you !
Mr. Katarn just a little question:
in my pendrive I use Iobit Uninstaller, yes I know that they stole Malwarebytes engine and so on, and I don't trust Iobit but unluky is the only portable uninstaller that view 64bit registry and is usefull when friends needs help uninstalling toolbars or unwanted programs and I use it in that case.
Well I try to put Iobit Uninstaller on Sumo via add folder but sumo exclude iobit exe so I can't control this update with sumo.
Is due the Iobit vs Malwarebytes question, is a predefined action not detect iobit programs ?
What's the indicated "reason for rejection" in SUMo scan window for that exe file ?
nothing Sumo simply said:
(location of the exe in my Hd or pendrive...)Iobit-uninstaller.exe|Installer / Uninstaller (IObit Uninstaller / IObit / 188.8.131.52)
Go there : http://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/ and report all this as a feature request with all these details and i'll have this implement in next release.
I did it, thanks
why Sumo installer isn't signed ?
I get tons of "Empty/Invalid version". See if you can get anything out of this
How can i sign my installers for free ?
Everything seems "normal". These are exe with no version info / invalid version info.
Yes, most of them are secondary executables, but there are applications that SUMo doesn't detect - at least in my system. Specifically:
FastStone Capture, FastStone Image Viewer, GNU Backgammon, LICEcap, Erunt, Eusing Registry Cleaner, Jooleem, JTR's Grooveshark Downloader, RocketDock, MBR Backup, Namebench, Depenency Walker, Inpaint, Super Tuxcart, Fly/Ladybug/Cockroach On Desktop, PokerTH, TORCS
i don't know but i have an idea
but you can Put an MD5 hash for each installer and update that hash with installer
Do they all have version info in the exe file properties ?
I'll think about that. Thanks !
No, off all of them only Dependency Walker has (v. 2.2.6000.0)
Go in settings and allow Microsoft products support to have this one accepted by SUMo
Ok with that, what about the others? lol
You should ask their dev team to add versionning info in their exe file properties, like most poeple do
SUMo - 3.0.7 (Released 2012-05-0
Works great and Iobit Uninstaller is perfectly detected
