The title pretty much says it - After recent Windows Updates, NOD32 is not recognized as a valid AV program.

I have done the usual things - uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh version of NOD32 and cleaned out the "Repository" folder and rebooted.

My only remaining option is to reload an image of the system from before the update. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks.

Is Nod32 working fine otherwise? Are you using latest AV version?

    I performed those steps, 3GUSER.

While I thought that NOD32 was working fine, it did not detect the EICAR files. I use this laptop so seldom that I really doubted that I could get a disabling bug.

What to do? Thanks in advance.

Correction; the EICAR files were detected and deleted. It was in the log. I just got no notification as I get with Avira on another PC.

NOD32 is still not seen by XP.
