Stupid thing I did today Blazey?

Got up this morning, wife says: "Can you hang this picture?"

    "Sure," says me stupidly.

Just a sec while I find the 'stud' [timber wall stud, behind the gyprock or, drywall as you guys say in US]

Oh, don't worry, she smiles sweetly [beware woman smiling] I've already marked the spot, I found it.

Okkkkkkkkk, thinks me with my headcold/ache/sniffles, I can live with that.

Out comes hammer / nail, line it up on the X, I bash, head goes clean thru the wall, missing the stud by about 2 cm [1inch].

I just look, shake my head, bite tongue, move nail over couple inches, and hammer it in, hang picture and walk away without a word.

Guess that picture will never be coming down.

Stupidest thing that I've done is put all of this security software on my PC, and I've still got a 450 Mhz P III in it.

LOL... nah... *that* would have cracked the entire wall, mug like the bottom of a sandshoe that's stepped in birdcrap and run over by a steamroller. Mine that is. I wear  when shaving.

The stupidest thing that I have ever done is to actually make the statement in the Wilder's Anti-Virus forums that Norton is half decent at detecting viruses!

No, not stupid you. I forgot about the many Peaches incidents, you're probably right (for once :D), insulting Peaches is probably the stupidest thing that I have ever done.

Actually, I still do believe NAV is a good product but from now on I will save such statements for 10-Forward where things are not taken too seriously. :D
