I didn't really see an answer to this problem in the other thread . Same message, files are up to date ,....not .

All versions should update fine. What error do you get when you click the Update now button?

"Your version of NOD32 is up to date . No update is necessary ". Tried quiting
the program and restarting . Didn't make any difference .

I have Nod on 2 computers running through the same router ,would this make a
difference ? My laptop is at version 1.1682 and my desktop is still stuck at 1677.
    Both are trial versions .

Just manually updated to 1683 . After hitting the update button about 15 times,
it finally worked . Hope this server problem or whatever it is gets fixed soon .

Try having a look under Logs > Event Logs to see if any other problems were encountered on the date you were trying to check for updates.

I checked Event logs this morning on my desktop . It took 3 or 4 manual tries
to update to 1684 sigs . Nothing odd that I could see in the event logs . It
took 3 to 5 tries to update my Laptop . When I first installed and setup Nod32,
both computers would update at startup . I haven't made any changes since
then .Maybe this server problem isn't totally cured ? o_O

well, perhaps for trial there is still a problem, but the commercial version is working fine. :)

    With risk to repeat myself
No problem with trial versions , I installed a trial on a possible client yesterday and it worked as normal , Normal means like 2 weeks ago.

Trial Normal also means really different from the paid version because normally trials receive "No update" when servers are more busy , lower priority ;)

Perhaps all I need to do is go to the paid version and problem solved . I still have a couple weeks to go on my trial , so I'll keep an eye on things .
    Thanks for the post .
