strange zonealarm error

Hi,

I have a user that's getting a zonealarm webpage on a browser launch that informs him that his zonealarm was not setup correctly. He does not recall installing the software on his machine and can't browse the internet. From what he's telling me, he's on chat clients and is able to chat with others.

When he looks in his hard drive, he finds no evidence of any zonealarm folders or uninstall entry in add/remove programs.

Anyone have any ideas on how the program could have possibly been installed? are there any known zone alarm spoofs that fools the user into allowing a hacker into their machines? How do I go about removing this startup webpage?

Is he connected to a router that has ZA security control installed and is looking to each client? Check the router to see if it is setup as a ZA gateway in it's firmware.
