    Hi.
My wife and I are sharing a common Internet access through a wi-fi router.
The printer is connected on my PC. (HP PSC 1600 on USB port)

The wife's laptop is running Windows 7 Home edition (64 bits).

When I'm running on XP (Pro SP3), she can print anything.
However, when I'm on Linux (Xubuntu 12.04.1 at the moment), she can print things like Word documents perfectly fine, but PDFs don't print at all!
I tried different PDF readers (Adobe Reader X, Foxit) to no avail.

Is there something specific to PDF documents I need to know?

Thanks in advance for the help!
    François

P.S. On Linux, I'm not running Samba. The printer is shared, that's it.
