Strange HD problem

    I amj running Win98SE. Sometimes when I turnh the PC on it boots up as far as the Windows desktop screen without the icons or taskbar and just sits there. I then have to press the reset button and normally boots up fine. I tend to see this behaviour more when the PC hasnt been used for a few days, but not always :eek:

    I have all the updates and only have the windows services to load on start up with no results.

    System scanned for viruses and adaware etc


    Any suggestions please :oops:

    MS RegClean. www.download.com
    probably more of an OS problem rather than anything else. Check out your drivers, hether there's been updates (Video card especially)
