It seems everybody raves about this program, when I Google my question why does this program call home (or where ever)o_O Checking for updates off.
I would call it spyware, would you?

I have the paid version versus the free one. Hardly any difference between them, but the paid version is full of ads, as it requires another program to be installed, so that you can install the paid version.

The free version doesn't. Go figure!

I have uninstalled it from my computer.

    Best regards,

    KOR!

P.S. The paid version is called, PRO.

If you are speaking of Impulse, this is no longer required as it now belongs to GameStop instead of Stardock.

Judging by Outpost's log, I'd say it has something to do with some certificate verification? Those domains belong to COMODO.
