    Hey guys,

I'm trying to find an SSH provider that won't cap my bandwidth.
    Something with some descent speed.

I want something I can route all my traffic through, and I run some torrent downloads here and there. Which most of the places i look at don't like.

i found one provider that had no problem with torrents but that's all it did. You had to use their torrent app so it was impossible to route anything else through it.

    I'd appreciate any advice.

    Thanks,

    Kenny

You may be have look at using several providers to achieve what your after. Several providers that i know of are, PRQ Hosting (prq.se) same provider whom hosts wikileaks and pirate bay, have ssh tunnels for offer. Metropipe also has a ssh tunnel. Both i believe go through sweden. Guardster also offer a ssh tunnel, though their website says nothing about what country its hosted in, through they are hosted in US. A new provider, hushhosting.com offer several tunnels in several different countries including Netherlands, Germany,Malaysia,Czech Republic,Hong Kong, Luxembourg and U.S.A (taken from website). International Alliance Privacy Services also provide SSH tunnels to to the above listed countries also including Switzerland, UK, Canada.

PRQ is US$10 a month, Metropipe is US$25 for 6 months, Guardster is US$10 a month, Hushhosting is US$45 for 3 months for 1 country and IAPS has SSH accounts for US$59.90 for 3 months.

These are more suited for private surfing/IM-ing than torrents through you have to read thier various TOS to get an idea on how stringant they are on DCMA notices. Metropipe isn't too concerned about it, they even show you how to configure p2p clients, PRQ are reknown for be resistant to take-down notices from the sites the host. Providers whom specialist in p2p are torrent-privacy, superchargemytorrents and BTguard.

I did email Guardster asking where their servers are based and they confirmed me it is a US IP.
