SpyWareGuard Updates - 1/22/04 = up to date?

Curious..... 5 months ....a "little" behind?

SpywareBlaster vs. SpywareGuard - what's the
difference? Besides SpywareBlaster's last
update being on 6-23-04 with a database of 3022
items.

Yes ... SG 1/22/04 is correct
SB 6/23/04 is correct - 3022 items

The difference between the two ... SB works by placing kill bits in your registry blocking known "bad" active X controls ... also blocks tracking cookies ... SG is a live process (real scanning engine) That blocks spyware .exe's from executing (signature database) blocks spyware downloads with IE, and Browser Hijacking - for more info see Javacools website - Spyware Guard 2.2
