SpywareGuard 2.10 was working fine until I patch my Windows 2000 pro Sp3 with the latest service pack SP4.
Now it's loading normaly but after few seconds I got an error message saying :
    Execution error 13
    Type mismatch
    Program terminate....
Uninstall and re-install spywareguard does not change anything.
Thanks for suggestion and ...Help :)
I have SpywareBlaster latest installed too, MruBlaster.
    Never had any trouble before.

Please try starting the main SpywareGuard program (sgmain.exe) and quickly pressing the Options button, enabling Browser Hijacking Protection, and Saving the Settings.

That should resolve the issue (please let me know if it doesn't!).

    Best regards,

This is a very unusual problem - many other users have reported success with Windows 2K SP4. :doubt:

If I find out any more about the issue I'll let you know (and please do post if you find anything else out yourself! :)).

    Best regards,

Many thanks Javacool, could not live without SpywareGuard, so I have revert to Win2k SP3 with a Ghost backup.
This morning I just tried to upgrade again to SP4, same error, same problem.
SpywareBlaster is ok, Agnis too with AtGuard....(BBR Old computer)
May be related to french language files ?
    Best regards :)
