In the Block List under Restricted Sites, there are 478 items that I cannot block. I select all then click the "Protect Against Checked Items" button, but the items deselect and turn red. I use other security software, but cannot detect any pests. Any ideas?

    Hi coffee. :)

    Welcome to Wilders.

Are the items deselecting after running scans with other anti-spyware apps?

If so, which other anti-spyware apps. do u use?

Do u use IE SpyAd or Pest Patrol?

    Hi snowbound,

This problem began about 2 months ago. I'm not sure what caused the problem. I was doing my weekly updates. When I clicked the "Enable All Protection" link, I noticed that the items with the "protection disabled." Originally, there were well over 600 disabled items. I worked with it awhile, and was able to lower the number to 478. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software. I wondered if another anti-spyware was causing the problem. I do use Pest Patrol. I have been using both for months, but that was the first time I have had a problem. Do you think Pest Patrol is causing a conflict?
    Your dragon icon is cool.

I know sometimes Pest Patrol does flag some of the entries set by SpywareBlaster. Your entries unprotected are quite numerous though. Iam at a loss as to why that is.

Hopefully, someone with more knowledge of this will assist u.

Sorry i could not have been more help.
