Spywareblaster request for global hook

    I have only had Spywareblaster for a few days and it looks good.
    BUT, it keeps requesting a global hook to Microsoft file MSVBVM60.DLL.
    This request is denied through my Comodo Pro Firewall.

    Why does spywareblaster NEED a global hook to this file ?
    What is the effect on Spywarebalster performance in NOT getting one ?
