I'm curious to know why my SB 3.3 would show a live Mozilla/Firefox tab when I don't have those applications installed, and never have.
Previous versions of SB always showed it as "Not Installed" or "Not detected".
    Any ideas anyone?

    Hi,

Do you use or have you ever used Netscape 7.x or any other Mozilla/Firefox - based browsers?

    Thanks,

I installed, and removed immediately Netscape 7 (I think it was 7) on someone's suggestion, decided I didn't need it. Is there something in the registry I should be looking for/removing?

Usually....whether it's Mozilla or Netscape....they leave a registry.dat file behind....which can cause Spywareblaster to think you still have one of those programs. Since it varies according to your Operating system....you should find it in a sub-folder Application Data\Mozilla. Until registry.dat is removed....Spywareblaster will continue to think you have Netscape\Mozilla.

Thanks for the info. I found a Mozilla dat file in Application Data and deleted it. The problem is now fixed.
I kept looking for Netscape...should have been Mozilla...DUH:rolleyes:
