reposting.. because i think i posted it in the hijack area, and im pretty sure ive cleaned it all out.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

ive installed, uninstalled, installed spywareblaster over and over agian..but everytime i try to open it i get an error box saying:

This program has been damaged, possibly by a bad sector of the hard drive or a virus. Please reinstall it.

.. ive scandisked and ran adaware, spybot-search and destroy and also CWShredder. (i had CWS.Searchx) ive also installed spywareguard but this was AFTER the above error problem occured.. so i dont think its spywareguard causing the problem. (ive also uninstalled spywareguard and i still get the "program has been damaged" error)

spywareblaster DID work before my system was hijacked.. but since then it and another program (fraps 2.1) give the above error when they are loaded. its the only thing i can think of.. maybe a windowsupdate? i did do that too.. im not exactly sure at all.

all i know is i cannot open spywareblaster.. heres my hijackthis log, please help!

    Hi CWSjim,

The thread you started in the 'adware, spyware & hijack cleaning' forum is here:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=29209

dvk01 had posted instructions for you to download the pv.zip file and run it. This is needed so he can see if there is any suspicious dll files still on your system.

Please go back to the above thread and follow the instructions dvk01 has given.

    Regards,

    snap
