SpywareBlaster didnt block cookies from loading

Why doesnt SpywareBlaster block cookies from loading on my pc. Used a removal tool to delete all cookies from my computer and then visited several web sites. the removal tool showed new cookies almost immediately.

Spyware Blaster only blocks spyware / tracking cookies. If you want to block all cookies, you'll have to change the settings in your browser.

In IE - go to Tools -> Internet Options, then select the Privacy Tab - You can select to block all cookies by sliding the slider all the way up, which will show as Block all Cookies. A better method would be to click the advance button in the Privacy Tab ... check the "override automatic cookie handling" box and set first party cookies to "Prompt" and third party cookies to "Block", because some sites require cookies to function ... that way when a site wants to set a cookie you'll get a pop up for the request, which you can allow or deny.
