    Hi!

I just downloaded Spywareblaster and tried to check for updates...

First error I got was "Cannot write file to disk error 35761. Request Timed out"

    Next came

"Database error. The Spywareblaster database may be corrupted or missing."
Click on the link below to run check for updates and download..

    But it won't let me!

IE, Restricted and Mozilla all show "Database error" next to them...

    Please help!

    TIA

    Hi icd91884 :)

    Welcome to Wilders.

First thing to try is open your SpywareBlaster interface and go to Updates>Options then try one of the other methods of downloading updates.

Post back and let us know if it was sucessful.

On occasion I have had this problem a few times but attributed it more with a quirk in the round trip of downloading. So I would simply try again and it would be fine OR I have even re-booted, took a break and it was fine. Seemed to be just a temporary hicup but I'm not saying you don't have some other problem....just tinking out loud. Try a few of the things I mentioned ?
