LOL, ( this is no criticism of Javacools :) ) but, the more updates/improvements in Javacool's software, the better, for mine.

LOL, most of the time 'we' are crying out for more updates to the software here.

    Problem
Thanks for the new version . It still has the issue with threatfire.TF stops it opening and must be exited and the service stopped before SB will open. Is there anything you can do about that?

SpywareBlaster 4.3 causes Access violations on my Windows 2000 Pro SP4 machine for Firefox 3.6.3, SeaMonkey 2.04, and Flock. I first reported this problem with Firefox Feb 25, 2009. Now it's all the Firefox derived browsers.

I never use TeaTimer, too irritating. I disabled Winpatrol and Avast and there was no change. SpywareBlaster works fine on the XP machine, just not on the Win2000 machine. I need to replace it soon anyway so that problem will be put in the closet.

    Hi,

I've run through a number of tests on Windows 2000 and I unfortunately cannot reproduce the issue you're seeing.

On the off-chance that it is being caused by incorrect/old versions of required support files, please try downloading and installing the latest Microsoft VB 6.0 SP6 Run-times from here:

    Best regards and thanks,

Hi everyone,I joined just to state my problem.I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit and when I started getting back all my favorite apps (which has always included SB) I eventually got to SpywareBlaster.I've used it without problems for a long time, but now I encounter this after it installs and trys to run:

"Error while unpacking program, code LP5. Please report to author."

Does anyone know what this means?
Could my firewall (COMODO Firewall + Antivirus) or other anti-malware programs, such as Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware or my antivirus (Avast! Antivirus) be causing a conflict?

    If so,what should I do?
