Hello, we just released a new beta of Spyware Terminator 2.1.

Changes include:
Significantly improved resource management of Spyware Terminator services
Vastly improved speeds of Fast Spyware and Full Spyware scans
All weblinks in Spyware Terminator now open with your default browser
Improved Vista support
Improved XP Limited Account support
Improved ClamAV integration
Font in the scan report changed to Tahoma
New Bosnian language
New Valencian language

I'm using it now and can confirm that the scan speed has increased dramatically. If you're already using ST then this improvement is reason enough to download it. I haven't noticed any problems with the beta so far.

Do you mean ram usage for the resident shield? According to the Vista task manager SpywareTerminatorShield.exe is using about 5.5 megs.

 

I get two processes, for a total of 20-21 meg.

 

Im in Vista. Memory numbers (without ClamAV enabled):
