Can anyone tell me what the best spyware prevention software is? I currently have the free Ad-aware SE and also use Spyware Xterminator.

Don't know about Spyware Xterminator....but Adaware is good. You could also try Spybot & SpywareBlaster.

After trying out most of the spyware products, I chose Giant AS. My first line of defense is ProcessGuard 3.0 which prevents installation of rootkits and keyloggers. I have Kaspersky 4.5 AV and Giant AS running in real-time and I have Ad-aware, Spybot, and Spywareblaster (all three are free) for on-demand scanning. This setup seems to work pretty well.
