Spyware Blaster sdhelp.exe is trying to terminate smss.exe. Should I allow?

Re: Spyware Blaster trying to terminate smss.exe

It's probably not actually trying to terminate, since that would crash the system. What is happening is that it is just scanning, opening SMSS.EXE with full access IN CASE it needs to terminate a thread or process.

You probably mean Spyware Doctor, which is safe and needs this access. So YES, allow it.. go to ALERTS and click "allow terminate" on one of those alerts. Or just run the scanner in Learning Mode and then disable Learning Mode again.

In general, as long as you trust the program then you can allow such access. Usually it will be a trojan scanner or other antispyware program so yes, allow! :)
