spyware blaster install problem

tried to open sb tonight. wouldn't work. uninstalled, deleted folder in program files, and downloaded 3.51. when trying to install it the icon disappeared and an error message said can't find spyware blaster.exe file.

Have ad-aware se running. had no problems with either up to now.

Installed comcast cable internet with motorola surfboard modem a few weeks ago.

After problem occured installed windows defender.

Uninstalled comcast toolbar.

Just in case ran the "missing file" options seen on this board. No help.

Any thoughts?
