I've run both Spybot S&D and AdAware and still have the sexocean.biz site taking over my computer. Following is the Hijack this log file. Thank you for your help!

    Hi!

You have been infected by Coolwebsearch.

Please download the latest version of CWShredder from here

If you are unable to download that file because of the Hijack, please post back. If you are able to get the file follow the instructions below.

    Run it.
Check for update, if it needs to update please allow it to do so.

Click fix/next. Let it fix all if finds.
    Reboot

Run it again (to be sure it worked)
Click fix/next. Let it fix all if finds.
    Reboot

    Do a virus scan here.
If you get report of files that can’t be cleaned / deleted please write down the filenames and locations and post that in your reply.

    Reboot

After that go to windows update and download all critical updates.

After installing go back and download some more and repeat that until all updates are done.

    Reboot

Run a new HJT log and post it here as a reply to this topic since there will be more that needs fixing.

I've run the CWShredder (twice on each username they have) and it did find one thing it deleted.

Now I'm getting a program ttuh.exe trying to access the internet, as well as an error trying to find c:\windows\system32\services\services.exe.

The virus program you recommended found this BKDR PADODOR.E in the C:System Volume Information, but said it was non-cleanable. Norton AV didn't find any viruses.

Below is the new Hijack this log. Thank you for the help!

We will have to reset system restore to get rid of that but wait with that until the rest of the problems are solved

Lets try to fix that and some other things (se below)

Please do all the steps in the order they are listed
    • Please delete your temporary files by deleting all files and folders that are in those folders (do not delete the temp folder itself) like for example
      C:\WINDOWS\Temp\
      C:\Temp\
      C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\
Also delete your Temporary Internet Files, be sure to also select delete all offline content.

    • Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browsers and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

      F1 - win.ini: run=C:\WINDOWS\System32\services\services.exe

    • Optional
The following activeX controls will reinstall when (and if) you revisit that website, UNLESS you know they are from a safe source, check to remove.

    • Click here, for instructions on how to enable hidden files and folders to be visible. After enabling, reboot into safe mode by tapping F8 after the BIOS has loaded

    • Find and delete the following:

      Files
dexGB677.exe <--- Search for it (Might not be there)
C:\WINDOWS\System32\services\services.exe <--- Might not be there

    • Reboot back into normal mode

    • After that could you check the properties for these files? Also if you know what application the belong to please reply with that info to.
      C:\Documents and Settings\Cheryl Durbin\Application Data\ttuh.exe
      C:\WINDOWS\System32\wcpsu.exe
Look in the version tab and write down the description and see if there is any info about company and so on and post back the info here.

    • Rescan with HJT and post a new log here. Also please describe how your computer behaves.

As far as I can tell, it seems to be running better, at least there's no more annoying popups. I'm not sure what the two extra programs are, as no info shows up in the properties on them.

    Here is the new log:

    Hi kamadu,

Did you also fix the 2 that Derek posted?.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Aida] C:\Documents and Settings\Cheryl Durbin\Application Data\ttuh.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WINT] C:\WINDOWS\System32\wcpsu.exe

There also may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Cheryl Durbin\Application Data\ttuh.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\wcpsu.exe

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

    Regards,
    Kent
