i have had alot of bsods with spysweeper since version 5.0 then it stopped with a few updates. with the first 5.2 i had bsods as well but atm the newer version seems to be fine but i will keep people updated.
if you thinking about getting a new antispyware dont get spysweeper!
i know it has some conflicts with f-secure but that was fixed a while ago by turning off the spyware communication shield during the install.

    Hi Lodore
I use Spysweeper since release 4.0 Along BD and ZA Pro.
I had great slowing down problems with 5.0 relaese. Another issue was ram usage, even if the SW was down (some processes stayed on using 30MB ram).
With 5.2 release (w/o AV) things get better. RAM usage reduced, and if the SS is down only a process stay on w/ only 700/1000 KB usage.
So it is really possible to use it as on-demand scan Sw. (ZA Pro a BD both have Antispyware).

But this is only my Opinion.

    My best regard.
    Mike
