    SpyShelter still alive?

    Hi guys,

Is SpyShelter still relevant HIPS solution? The last time it got updates was in January 13, 2012. I just like to know, I don't want to buy a life time license and the next thing I know the vendor dies on me.

Here is a thread from a couple of months ago? any updates?

it's virtually a state-of-art as of now, very good as anti keylogger.

Thank you moderator. Just after I posted my question, I've noticed that I should have continued in the old thread.

On the subject of SS. How is it's HIPS and firewall compared to OA?

I don't know how long that link directing to "tomp4 dot com" has been at the footer of their webpages but it has been there not later than December 10, 2010.

I emailed SS 2 weeks ago asking if they are still active and whether SS will be updated. I received no response so it is safe to assume that SS is now abandonware. Really a shame because it looks like their keylogging protection was quite good and the restricted mode for a browser was something unique. Unfortunately I was never able to get restricted mode to work with adobe flash. I have now moved on to PFW which offers pretty good HIPs, keylogger protection and FW in much smaller package.
