spyguard update error

I am getting this error when trying to update, Error downloading updates,
The last working updates have been loaded...

What does this mean? and is anyone else having this same problem?

While this does not address the download error you are experiencing....I would suggest you consider downloading the databse files manually given the fact the latest database is 2 1/2 yrs old(1/22/04). Follow the below link and take note of the section dealing with Manually Updating SpywareGuard.

If however you would like to address your download error problem....Please provide info concerning any other words or numbers mentioned in the error and whether or not other programs you use are experiencing download problems.

I am also wondering about the liveupdate option. Is it true that the latest update database files are from 2004? why is this?? Do you have to donate toward the software?
