spybot's HOSTS file protection

    hi

    iam using spybots HOSTS file protecton



    which kind of sites listed on the ??

    did only the bad sites (like spyware, malaware , activeX .....) list on the HOSTS file , or spybot also listes warez and illegal sites and so on siteso_O

    which got nothing to do with security

    As far as I know, it only blocks sites with malware and ad/tracking sites. It's not the babysitting type of blacklist who also blocks warez/xxx sites because they generally contain more malware.
