    Apparently, what they label as their Free version will have a nag screen. -http://www.safer-networking.org/private/

    Among other features, their Free version lacks automation (scanning, etc), so I wonder if a nag screen would be really necessary with this Free version... :doubt:

    No. What it happens is that, the 2.0 release page contains a link (not sure why? *) to the 3rd RC, which was made available October 25th, 2012.

    * I think it's just how the website CMS works?

    And, why would they sell a RC? o_O Makes any sense to you?

    has anyone ran this baby through the gamut (resource usage, compatibility with other programs, detection, etc) ?

    Spybot Search & Destroy 2.0

    After Installation, Spybot S&D occupied 134 MB of my Hard Disk.
    A Full Scan lasted 26 Minutes.
    Nice GUI Lifting...:thumb:

    i gave their beta a try sometime ago and the detection was HORRIBLE !
    anyone tested this final version yet?

    Those of you who tested it, did you verify whether or not the new version supports ASLR? I remember RC versions did not (at least the first two, I think).

    It still does not support ASLR, at all. :thumbd:

    Also, what happened to their option to have a portable Spybot? o_O I hope I'm not mistaken, but wasn't there an option before? :blink:
