Hi. I run Spyblocker and would like to know:-------
    1) What additional benefits will I get by also installing Spyblaster ?
    2) Will they be compatible if I run them together ?
Cheers. Jambo. PS. My correct password was repeatedly rejected today and I have had to reregister with new names.!!!! (alpha24)

SpywareBlaster and SpyBlocker will run together with no problems (doing it here with WinXP Pro).

Put simply, the main screen of SWB shows al the CLSID's that you are protected against by that program - the SpyBlocker program doesn't address these at all.

That's where your "additional benefit" comes from, especially since SWB is free.

Paul Kurland (SpyBlocker's author) also puts out a program called SpywareStopper. It's not free, although if you have already purchased SpyBlocker, I believe you get a break on the price.

The "ActiveX" tab of SWS contains 477 entries, SWB currently covers 675. HTH Pete

Spy1 &Habari42 could you tell me your opinion of the products of Spyblocker & SpywareStopper (& eventually SpyStopper).
I don't seem to find many (independent) reviews.

Can I just throw in a quick request to double-check that you're all talking about the same products? There's unfortunately quite a few almost-but-not-quite similar product names in the security field, and we've gotten into misunderstandings in the past because of that.

    Thanks and best,
    Mike
