Spy sweeper definitions problem

In update section I noticed that the current spy sweeper update is v708 with 140,972 threat traces. Why mine is with only 140,966 ? I use the same program version 4.5.9 (Build 709). Thanks for helping me.

 

You can always redownload the full update set by:

1. Open Spy Sweeper to the HOME page.
2. Hold down the Ctrl-Alt-Shift key on your keyboard.
3. Double click on the SS icon at the top left of the HOME page.
4. Select the download full definitions option.

Is your version of SS V4.5.9.709? I see in your first post you say Build 708. Maybe you need to rev up to 709.

 

My version is 4.5.9 (build 709) , the Spyware Definitions was 708, it is a little bit confusing 'cause it is almost the same number (with last update it's the same number: i mean build and spyware definitions number).

 

I am using the V5.0 Beta 3 of Spy Sweeper which has more definitions than the V4.5. Therefore, I can't give you a compare from my system. I am suspecting that perhaps your number is correct and that others may need to redownload the full signature base again. Perhaps there is was a deletion that is not being handled correctly once those other 6 signatures got on a user's system. Odd...

 

The Build # is independently of the definition #. Version 4.5.9.709 was released some months ago. The definitions # will go up when more definitions were added.

 

I know it. It was only funny the coincidence between build number and definition number: that's all.
