You need to remotely access it? What about just checking event viewer, assuming this is WIndows machine?

Thanks Crofftk - no remote access needed. Just need to check time turned on and off. So yes event viewer may well do.

Anyone else find it humorous that the "Spy Program" is already built into windows?

"Listen, I want a program that will spy on users so I can know everything they are doing,"

"Oh, you're in luck. It comes built into the machine, it is called Windows."
