I need a clarification: what is the right way to make a bootable SpinRite CD (not a floppy)?

Burn ISO (if so, what's the best way) or just burn the spinrite.exe on the CD?

    Please, provide a detailed procedure.

    Thank you

    Thanks, Cudni.

I suppose SpinRite can't work with encrypted drives?

I think it can. It doesn't care what data is on it

I used some of Barts boot tools to make an image of my spinrite floppy and created an image that I run off of cd using grub4dos. I just choose the menu option, and the floppy is emulated. I did the same for many floppies, like ghost, spinrite, memtest86, memdoc, spinrite and mhdd.

SpinRite (likewise similar HDD utils) absolutely doesn't care about any filesystem and/or encryption or whatever similar, it's way lower level than that.
